The leader of our successful and highly spirited team, it wouldn’t have been possible without the determination and morale that Captain Bikash JB Rana possesses. Trained and graduated from the Indian Air Force, Capt. Bikas JB Rana has served in the Nepal Army as a Pilot and Instructor for over 20 Years. A Three term President of the Airlines Operator's Association of Nepal (AOAN), Capt Rana was also the Board Member to Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) for five years. Capt Rana has played a very primary role in making helicopter operation a prominent and significant ingredient of the Nepalese Tourism Industry.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Mr.Suman Pandey, has been actively involved in the travel & tourism business for almost 20 years. A well recognized figure in the Nepal tourism industry, Mr.Pandey was awarded the prestigious Suprasiddha Gorkha Dakshin Bahu in the year 2004, has been the President of TAAN (Trekking Agent's Association of Nepal) from 2001-2003, served as an Executive member of the Nepal Tourism Board from 2004-06 and is now in the advisory panel of the same. In 2008 the American Biographical Institute (ABI) conferred the Lifetime Achievement award to Mr.Pandey in recognition of his contribution and achievement in the field of tourism and Himalayan adventure. His impeccable zeal and enthusiasm serves as strength to the company.

He received his training and education in India with the Indian Army and has served in the same for about 15 years. He has a wide range of flying experience in different terrains including sea, desert, plains and mountains. He has a total of more than 3000 flight hours. He got his Commercial License from the USA.

SIMONE MORO
Pilot, professional mountaineer and skydiver.He realized 44 climbing expedition all over the world and climbed 11 times a peak of 8000 m, 4 times Everest.. He is the only person who climbed 3 mountain above 8000 meters in full winter season. As Pilot he is holding FAA and JAA licence. He achieve 800 hours and he get the type rating of R22, R44, As 350 B3, Sa315B Lama. His experience is particularly focused on mountain rescue and search on remote and unknown peak of Nepal.

ENGINEERING
With a fleet of four helicopters, which includes one AS 350 B3 "Ecureuil", one AS 350 B2 "Ecureuil", one AS 350 B "Ecureuil" and one Bell 206B III Jet Ranger helicopter, Fishtail Air is the largest helicopter operator in Nepal. To fly and maintain its technically advanced fleet, Fishtail Air has appointed a team of skilled engineers and technicians who are highly experienced and have years of proven experience.Col. Mr. Bishwo K. Gorkhali (Rtd.)
Technical Director of the Company, is a retired Colonel of the Nepalese Army. He has worked under the VVIP Flights as Engineering In-Charge. He has been working in the aviation field since 1982 and has an experience of more than 20 years in Super Puma AS 332, Bell 206L series, Ecureuil AS 350 series and Alouette helicopters. He is also an experienced and CAAN approved technical instructor for helicopters.
Col. Mr. Om P. Shrestha (Rtd.)
who is the Senior Engineer of the Company; a retired Colonel and Chief Engineer from the Nepalese Army VVIP Flights, is one of the most experienced technician of the company. He has worked an obtained his training within and outside the country. He has worked for helicopter companies like the Helog Company in Switzerland and Austria. He was also the supervisor of the UN Mission helicopters operating in countries like Sudan and Sierra Leone.
Lt. Col. Mr. Gupta Bahadur Gurung (Rtd)
Senior Avionics Engineer of the Company, is a retired Avionics incharge of Neplease Army VVIP flights. He is a CAAN approved Aircraft Maintenance Technician and has ratings in MI-17, Super Puma AS 332, Bell 206L series, Alouette and Ecureuil AS 350 series helicopters in Avionics. He has been working in the aviation field since 1982 and has an experience of more than 20 years. He has also been approved by the Civil Aviation Authority to act as a Ground Instructor.
Mr. Anil Basnyat
who is the Senior CAAN approved Aircraft Maintenance Technician and has ratings in AS 350 series, MI-17 and BK-117 helicopters both in Engine and Airframe. He has been working in this field since 1986 and has an experience of more than 20 years. He has also been approved by the Civil Aviation Authority to act as a Ground Instructor.
OUR TEAM
Our support team in the Operations, Engineering, IT, Administration, Finance, and Marketing Departments are also very able and experienced. They have been engaged in their line of responsibilities for the past ten or more years and have adequate and expert knowledge of their area.
